I am happy to report that I have had an amazing week! I started the week with some guided meditations, yoga and hiking. When I begin my hikes I always say a prayer and invite any guides and angels available to please walk with me and work with me as they see fit. Monday and Tuesday when I hit the top of the trails I found myself a quiet spot and did some visualizing. I set an alarm (with a gentle alarm sound) for 10 minutes and I focused on visualizing the things I wanted to bring into my life as though I already have them. I had a difficult time focusing on Tuesday, a lot of thoughts kept intruding. I learned in Yoga that when this happens you need to acknowledge the thought and send it on its way like a cloud floating a long in the sky. I mainly focused on having an abundance of money to do the things I want this summer and on being on set. Working behind and in front of the camera.
So- I started my fist day of a commercial with a new production company on Wednesday and I got a long soooo well with the producers. I kicked ass with all my projects and was a pro on set. There is no doubt that I will be working with these ladies many more times!!! They work almost exclusively and consistently with Fox and that is pretty awesome! Did I mention that I got a raise? I am now in a higher position making more money. I couldn't be more thrilled. I booked another job for July and my one night at the bar job is no longer in jeopardy and is back to being lucrative.
Talk about a 360 turn around from two weeks ago! Hot dog! Life is good and I guarantee it is a direct result of my spiritual growth.

I am currently in the midst of a miracle

This has been a supernatural past week of my life to say the least.
I have been working on the art of attraction and alignment. I have been so impressed with the results I find they need to be documented. I work as and actress. in production and I bar tend once a week to get by. My 2 passions are acting and writing. I am currently between jobs and have a small amount of unemployment coming to me while I look for other jobs and work on my screenplay. The month of May was hard on me booking wise and money has been tight.
This past Friday I still had not received my check for unemployment and it was the third. Crap! I figured I was going to have to be late I guess, again. However, the cool thing about me is I am learning though spiritual guidance how to bring into my life the things in which I desire. I started of the week with a lot of writing and yoga in the mornings. I Incorporated guided meditations to my time in nature typically after my daily hikes. I visualized myself having more then enough and I made up silly rhymes while walking in the woods IE- Love and Joy surround me and in my heart I know I am safe, I send love to those around me, and get back prosperity in it's place." I absolutely did not know how I was going to bring the extra money I needed into my life, but I just knew with all my heart that it was coming.
So on wed I got a call from an actress I was in a film with a while ago. She wrote and was directing a commercial shooting the next day and it paid cash! She wondered if I would be interested in doing a couple scenes? I didn't even have to audition for it. Sweet. On Friday when as I was driving to the bar, my coworker asked me to cover his Sat and I said yes. He kept texting me and I was driving to work and said quit texting me I will see you in 10 minutes for my shift let's talk then. He says "didn't anyone tell you, you are not working tonight we are going down to 2 bartenders" SAY WHAT?!?!?! I was like hell no and I will be in in a minute and we can discuss. I get there and we work a system so I neither of us loose Friday by splitting the 13 hr shift in half and he giving him the latter part of Friday night off. He then goes home giving me his shift Friday as well as Sat. So I go on to work and have an excellent Friday and Devinne Saturday. Saturday was one of those fluke nights were God comes into your bar and makes miracles happen. I some how made $ 530! Some bars that is the norm, but not mine. $250 is the norm unless its playoffs. I started out Monday morning with no shifts and no auditions and half of my rent. By Sat, I had shot a commercial and make a months worth of tips in two days. BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE! I continue to pray, visualize, breath and hike each day of the weekend.
Sunday- I am having friends to grill by my pool to celebrate summer and life in general and my dear friend who is an executive assistant to a major director for Fox rolls into my BBQ. Just when I thought I had been the receiver of all the blessings I possibly could she books me on 4 days Coordinator/Assistant for a Fox Job. Kinda of a big deal. With a small day rate pay rise then what I am use to! Talk about a 7 day turn around! In 7 days I went from having virtually nothing and no idea as to how I was going to get enough to pay my rent to having shot a commercial, jackpot bar shifts, and booking a production job for fox. If that doesn't convince me that what I am doing with my energy work is absolutely paying off and real then I might as well jump off a bridge and give up. I now believe I have the power inside of me to make miracles happen and it feels amazing!
So the moral of this story is believing is sometimes more important then having. Don't get down about not having enough, get excited about receiving more then you can imagine! I can't wait to see what else happens.
